Yao Ming, the Chinese Big Man, was drafted as the top pick of the 2002 draft by the Houston Rockets. Ming, though he also never won a ring, was named to the All-Star team eight times and was All-NBA Second Team twice. The center averaged 19 points and 9.2 rebounds a game while with the Rockets. He retired after only eight seasons in the NBA because of his foot injury. Houston retired his no. 11 jersey during the 2017 season and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016.
