Dave Bing has given a lot to the city of Detroit, as both a player and a mayor. During his first nine seasons in the NBA, with the Pistons, Bing averaged 22.6 points with 6.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds. He racked up 7 All Star appearances, a Rookie of the Year award and is a Hall of Famer. The Pistons only made three postseason appearances with Bing, who also went to two playoffs with the Bullets, but he was never close to winning a championship.
