James Harden wrapped up his most prolific NBA season so far this year, averaging 29.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds for the Rockets. He led Houston to the Western Conference semis, beating the other MVP candidate, Russell Westbrook, on the way. Since he joined the Rockets during the 2012-13 season, they made the playoffs every season, after a three year hiatus. But they never made it past the Western Conference Finals. Harden has plenty more years ahead of him in the NBA, so there’s still time to win a ring.
