Alice Heine, who was born in New Orleans, would go onto marry into Royalty not once, but twice. First, she married Frenchman Armand Chapelle de Jumilhac, the 7th Duke of Richelieu in 1875. After having two children, the couple divorced 14 years later in 1889.
However, she went on to marry into Royalty again with second husband Prince Albert I of Monaco. Their love was not meant to be once again, with the two also separating in 1902.
