Although Bertha has been causing a storm in the media since she was first spotted, the snake isn’t the first exotic animal to wreak havoc across Warsaw.

Back in October 2014, two kangaroos hopped their way to freedom from a mini zoo found in Dziekanow Lesny. Stefania and Stefan headed straight for the city. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before Stefan was hit by a car and passed away. One kangaroo was down, but Stefania still had a mission to complete.
