A team of trackers were soon able to locate the snake not far from the fisherman’s call. They devised a plan and promptly set about putting it into action.

All they would do is use a large stick to pole Bertha into a cage, shut the door, and voila – one captured python. However, it seemed as though Bertha had other ideas. The terrain was in her favor meaning it wasn’t long before she made her escape. The team used special cameras to check in all the holes, but she was nowhere to be found.
