Being worth $12 million isn’t enough to convince this movie director to live lavishly. Tom Shadyac has directed movies such as Bruce Almighty, Patch Adams, and Ace Ventura but he chooses to live in a trailer by Malibu Beach.
The director suffered an accident in 2007, which changed his perspective on life, and he gave away three-quarters of his fortune. He says the more he gives away the wealthier he feels, and Shadyac has even set up a homeless shelter in Virginia.
