Married to probably one of the most famous singers in the modern age of music, Jay-Z didn’t always have it all. Jay-Z fell victim to poverty, turning to crime to help solve his personal and financial issues. There have been reports that it got so bad that Jay-Z even went as far as harming his own brother after he allegedly stole some jewelry.
Growing up surrounded by crime, and feeling as if it was his only option, he eventually found a passion for music and started following in the footsteps of his mentor Jaz-O. Jay-Z is now an incredibly prolific rapper and a music icon. While he had rocky beginnings, he has come a long way in becoming a global phenomenon; we won’t even go into who is better between Beyonce and Jay-Z.
