Parents have been long documented to be willing to do anything to get their kids out of trouble. In 2013, for example, 6-year-old Joey Welch fell off a dock in Florida. This being Florida, an alligator waited in the water and clamped down on his arm. His dad, Joseph, witnessed the entire thing.

Luckily, a good Samaritan also jumped in to help, and Joey got away with only minor scrapes. As for Plagmoid, he didn’t have any wildlife to go up against. All he heard was a story about a creep at school, and his reflexes weren’t quite light-quick.
