Content that his parenting quota for the calendar year was probably just about filled, Plagmoid happily went to work. A repairman, he had been doing electrical work on a facility near his two sons’ school. Every day that he was working there, he would park his work van in the school parking lot, eating lunch and mooching off of the school’s wireless internet.
Apart from how convenient it was, being a good place to chill on his break, it also gave him the opportunity to watch his sons at lunchtime going from their own building to the building the school cafeteria was in. As they did, he would merrily wave at them.
