Not only was Longo given the scholarship to play football in college, but it was at a Division II level school too. She was going to attend Adams State, Colorado.
The top football players in the country mostly all come through the college system, so getting into a high-level school was a promising sign for Longo’s career. Although she had made progress, she was still a long way from making it to the professional game and more work would be required.
