The arresting officer spoke to a reporter at People to give an insight into the mindset of Rhinehart. What was evident to the arresting officer was that Rhinehart did genuinely seem to believe she lived in that home.

Maybe it was a home she once lived in many years ago, but the people who definitely did live there were Kent and his wife. While Rhinehart might have felt she belonged in that house, that didn’t explain why she decided to wear Kent’s wife’s clothes. Perhaps she had better style than Rhinehart!
