Federica Pellegrini is an Italian swimmer and holds the world record in the women’s 200 metre freestyle. Pellegrini took home a gold medal for Italy in the 2008 Summer Olympics. She is the only swimmer, regardless of gender, that has taken home seven consecutive medals in the same event. Magnini is also an Italian swimmer who is a two time world champion for the 100-metre freestyle. Magnini won the bronze medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics.
