But Spanish goalkeeper Santiago Canizares’ shaving accident left him sidelined. Canizares severed a tendon in his foot after he accidentally smashed his aftershave bottle, causing glass to drop and a shard to sever a tendon in his big toe. The accident resulted in Canizares being sidelined during the World Cup.
