The ride seen here isn’t new – it’s from 1997. But several things set it apart. Firstly, this Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of only 183 produced for the U.S. market, and has been driven for only 9,360 miles. The other big selling point? It was formerly owned and driven by tennis great Pete Sampras.
“Pistol Pete” capped off his 14-year career by winning the 2002 U.S. Open – the 14th Grand Slam title of his career. The 911, meanwhile, has a pedigree as impressive. It’s been custom-built by Porsche Exclusive, the automaker’s in-house customization facility. With 425 horsepower and full leather interior, it truly is as dominant as Sampras was.
