Rowling are just some of the names that spring to mind, but the path was paved by this legend: Beverly Cleary. The author began her career back in the ‘50s and was entertaining young adults and children for years until her final book release in 1999. Although she is now retired and has been in an assisted living home since 2016, Beverly continues to rock at 104 years old.
