It’s often said there’s just a few inevitabilities in life – one being that we all have to pay our taxes. Oh wait, scratch that. Not all of us, because apparently, the royals don’t have to.
That’s right, according to British law, the monarchy are exempt from paying income tax, which basically means that any profitable money proved to be concerning their royal duties is exempt from being taxed. However, despite benefiting from this perk, the majority of royals still pay voluntary tax, including both Her Majesty and Prince Charles.
