New scam has been targeting owners of lost dogs

Lauren Shaw believes she will never be able to see her pet poodle, Lola, ever again. She does still have another dog who she said was a bit “snappier” and would have been more of a challenge for the burglars to steal.

Lauren, who doesn’t have any children of her own, compares losing Lola to losing an offspring. She believes that people who take dogs live a special way of life as they are heartlessly cruel. The false hope given by these scammers just adds to the heartache for the dog owners.
