Lauren received a mysterious call from a stranger. She said the person on the phone was obviously using a fake voice. Lauren had put up reward posters, offering £1,000 ($1,260) for the safe return of Lola.
The caller said to Lauren that they wanted some money up front before giving away any information. Lauren wouldn’t comply with their demands, not wholly trusting the person speaking to her. Due to her non-compliance, the person put the phone down on Lauren, and she hasn’t heard from them since.
