New scam has been targeting owners of lost dogs

These scammers are only too aware that people will do pretty much anything to get their dogs back, even trusting a complete stranger for information. Paying upfront for any kind of information is not a good idea, and if money is demanded for information, there is a good chance the person isn’t being honest.
