Just because Selena’s image has matured over the years doesn’t mean that she’s lost any of the purity inside of her. The star has worked tirelessly to show her support for various charities, including working alongside UNICEF for a number of years.
She’s been an ambassador for Island Dog who helps dogs in Puerto Rico, as well as for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. While the singer was still on the Disney Channel, she was part of their Friends for Change organization which helped raise awareness for environmentally-friendly behavior.
