There have been many great Doctors in the sci-fi show Doctor Who over the years with Christopher Eccleston being one of the best. The writers were keen to bring the actor back to the show for a 50th-anniversary special.

That was until Christopher turned down the opportunity. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s said the actor wouldn’t give a reason for his decision. The writers were then forced to rewrite the entire script to exclude Christopher from the storyline.
