While the hotel had a lot they needed to think about – after all, a power cut means they have to make sure all the food in their kitchens are kept fresh – they also needed to provide all their current customers with everything they needed.
No doubt, there were a lot of guests who were furious with the situation, but power cuts tend to be one of those things you can’t do much about until you can get someone to come and fix it. Surely, though, they could have called?
