George Harrison rose to fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. Harrison had embraced Hinduism and enthused many of his songs with Indian instrumentation and spirituality. In 2001, Harrison was tragically diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away.
His final album, ‘Brainwashed,’ was completed by his son and released posthumously in 2002. Harrison’s single ‘Stuck Inside a Cloud,’ hit No.27 on Billboard charts and ‘Any Road,’ released in 2003, hit No.37. ‘Marwa Blues’ won a Grammy Award in 2004 and in 2015, he was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
