Whitney Houston was arguably one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. Guinness World Records listed her as the most awarded female artist to have ever lived and she is to this day a best-selling artist, having sold 200 million records worldwide. When she was discovered to have passed in 2012, the world was shocked.
However, Whitney’s legacy lives on: In 2019, it was reported that she was the fourth best-selling female artist in the United States, and has since been inducted into the New Jersey, Rhythm and Blues, and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame.
