[post_page_title]Andy Warhol[/post_page_title]
Until his passing in 1987, Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the avant-garde movement of pop art. These days, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts is consistently making deals with companies that include Levi Strauss and Barney’s New York, to create reproductions of the iconic Warhol soup cans and portraits.
The Foundation not only serves as Warhol’s estate, but also maintains the objective of fostering experimental art and expression, and, in the visual arts world, is one of the most generous grant-giving organizations in the U.S.
