Marlon Brando has left behind quite a significant cultural influence on the 20th century film industry following his passing in 2004. Throughout his 60 year long career as an actor and director, he was the recipient of numerous awards including an Academy Award twice.
In 2006, a video-game based on Brando’s iconic film, ‘The Godfather,’ was released. This video-game, coupled with the selling of Brando’s Tahitian estate to developers for a luxury hotel, gave Brando’s estate $9 million in postmortem earnings.
