The first step was to have surgery to alter the angle of Evan’s teeth, where the dentist had to move the teeth 15mm (which is over ½ an inch). This already drastically changed the buck teeth, but there was still a long way to go. The next step was to get wired braces in order to straighten up the teeth and push his top row of teeth even further back. All of this was to reduce the overhang of the overbite, but as we all know, seeing the results of braces takes a long time.
