Dogs have more human characteristics than we may realize. Besides for being empathetic and possessing intelligence, dogs have moral ethics. Dogs have moral behaviors just like humans do. There was a study done where the dogs witnessed individuals who were nice to their owners, and those that were not. Afterwards, the dogs were encouraged to interact with these individuals.

Moral behaviors of dogs

Most dogs refused to share their toys with the individuals that weren’t nice to their owners. The dogs acted morally, and only shared their toys with the individuals who they judged to be worthy. Therefore, in dangerous situations dogs will act morally to save their beloved owners.
