Storm did the challenging part of initially getting the fawn out of the water. Storm’s owner Mark did not even see the fawn at first and was confused as to why Storm randomly ran out and into the water. When he realized what Storm was bringing to shore, Mark encouraged him to keep going. Once Storm had completed his task it was up to the humans to do their part.

Frankie and Erica took the fawn to Save the Animals Rescue Foundation, where it was treated for bruises it sustained during its little misadventure and ticks. The fawn also picked up an infection called subcutaneous emphysema during its adventure, and was given antibiotics to treat it. They left the in good care until it would be strong enough to go back to the wild.
