This Golden retriever ran into the ocean to try and save a drowning fawn

Storm is not the only brave dog to save other animals. In California a dog named Odin saved goats and deer from a raging fire. The owners, Rolando Tembo Hendel and his daughter Ariel, tried to convince Odin to escape the fast spreading Tubbs Fire with them. Odin refused to leave his beloved goats, who he cared for every day. The Hendel’s had no choice but to leave their animals behind. Imagine their surprise when they returned a few days later to find Odin, the goats and even stray deer alive and well.

Apparently Odin made sure the goats where out of harm’s way during the fire. Furthermore, Odin helped the goats and their adopted deer to find drinking water and food in order to survive. The Hendel’s lost everything they owned but are thankful that they at least still have Odin and their goats.
