Known as one of the most inspirational women within the realm of track and field, Jessica became the first British woman ever to be awarded the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award. A year after her retirement, Jessica was also given the title of Dame Commander of the British Empire, thanks to her services in athletics. She is now a regular columnist for the British newspaper, The Times.
