[post_page_title]Jordan Zimmermann – $24 million[/post_page_title]
After two seasons making $18 million a year with the Tigers, starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann’s salary jumped to $24 million in 2018, and will continue increasing. He’s due $25 million in 2019 and 2020 and could earn an extra half a million dollars if he wins the Cy Young ($200,000 if he comes in second in voting and $100,000 if he’s third). Zimmermann made just over $93 million so far in his 11-year career, and this season he is the second-best paid player on the Tigers and ninth in pitchers league-wide.
