Coach Maila told a news outlet she was “shocked” at how Kaitlyn was perceived by the community around her. They’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from Oakland’s residents, she said, and if there was one thing they wanted Kaitlyn to know, it was that she had a “much bigger influence” than she realized.
