So often in life, we’re faced with a choice between what’s right and what’s easy, as Professor Dumbledore so eloquently put it. Making the right choice isn’t easy, especially if you don’t have a lot of people to back you up.

Kaitlyn could have easily bowed out of the cheering squad – all her friends certainly did. But she made the harder choice, to keep doing what she loved, even if she had to do it alone. In that small, supposedly trivial decision, she inspired countless others to do the same.
