You see, many of us in this life don’t like to be the center of attention. We don’t like to have the spotlight on us, because then it’s as if every single little thing we do gets scrutinized till all eternity.

At the same time, we do consider ourselves pretty special, and in many ways, we are the center of our own attention. So even though we don’t want to put ourselves out there, we like to live vicariously through people who do.
