When this teen found out she was the only one to join the cheer squad, she fearlessly stepped up

Going into the season, and her final year of high school, Kaitlyn had a decision to make. She could either continue cheering, knowing full well she’d be doing it alone, or she could leave the squad, thereby effectively shutting it down.

No one who knew her was really surprised by what she decided. For Kaitlyn, school spirit combined with the love of the thing trumped all else. it was a no brainer. “I’ll do it,” she declared. “I don’t care if I’m standing there by myself.”

And so, Kaitlyn made the decision to join the squad again and immediately got to enjoy one of the earlier perks of being alone on it – she was now the squad’s captain by default!

Moreover, in a hilarious turn of events, she was now outnumbered by her own coaching staff two-to-one. Coaches Annie Dobos and Maila Couture were now doing their level best to prepare Kaitlyn for what was sure to be a very unusual cheerleading season – for pretty much everyone involved.
