Seeing one girl cheering the team all by herself definitely isn’t something you come across every day. In both home and away games, Kaitlyn has become something of a novelty act, and everyone and their grandmother have heard about her.

Her amazing story has captured not just attention, but plenty of hearts as well – even her rivals’! When the Eagles played Lawrence High School from Fairfield, for example, the opposing cheerleading squad had 16 girls. Far from going Mean Girls on her, they actually invited her to cheer with them!
