Camaraderie among cheerleaders seems to be alive and well, indeed. Every high school movie we’ve ever seen would have us believe Kaitlyn would be mocked, if not bullied, mercilessly.

Quite the opposite has been the case, actually. While the Lawrence High School certainly found it “a little bit weird” and “unusual” that she was going solo, members of their cheerleading squad thought it was “amazing” that she carried on even though she was alone. “So cool,” one Lawrence cheerleader declared – and we can’t help but agree.
