On her own sidelines, however, Kaitlyn’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. Other students’ parents who regularly attend the Eagles’ football games were very impressed.

“I so admire her,” one mom said, going on about how amazing it was that she was unafraid of facing down an entire crowd all by herself. “It’s tremendous,” another added. “She’s been awesome at all of the games this season.” Both moms agreed, in fact, that she was making a difference, as the entire school rallied behind her to cheer just a little louder.
