Zoo enraged by ‘disrespect’ of visitors who scratched names into a rhino’s back

Once the image of the rhino with names scratched onto its back was circulated around social media, it was only a matter of time before people started having opinions. One Twitter user felt as though this was yet another reason why zoos and circuses should be outlawed. They felt as though it was only in a zoo that a rhino could be approached as a domesticated animal. Then people began to question whether keeping animals in a zoo at all was such a good thing.
