Zoo enraged by ‘disrespect’ of visitors who scratched names into a rhino’s back

The zoo said that most visitors who interact with the rhinos do treat their animals with respect. Although that may be the case, according to Yahoo Finance, a French wildlife protection charity is calling on the zoo to do more. This charity is suggesting that Zoo de la Palmyre “fell short of standards” when it comes to animal safety. The charity seemed to be suggesting that visitors should not be allowed to touch the animals at all.
