Piledrivers are a banned move in WWE, as they can cause some serious damage when carried out, even if done by a professional. In fact, one slip up with a piledriver can lead to a broken neck. So, it makes sense that the WWE banned the move entirely… However, John Cena broke the rules in a RAW match in 2013 against CM Punk. The pair carried out a piledriver spot and ended up with fines from the WWE. While they could both afford the fines, many commented that it was a real safety issue and set a bad example to young viewers.
