The 1971-72 LA Lakers won 33 games in a row. The streak lasted from November 5, 1971 through January 7, 1972. Wilt Chamberlain was 35 years old at the time, Jerry West was 33 and Elgin Baylor was 37, which makes this winning streak all the more special. Their run finally came to an end on January 9, when they lost to the Bucks 120-104. That year the team would go on to win the NBA championship, the first championship the franchise won after moving from Minneapolis to Los Angeles.
