Actors who quit big roles for ridiculous reasons

Sean Connery just didn’t get the script

He was so desperate to have Connery’s star power, in fact, that he offered him $6 million, on top of a 15-percent take of all box office receipts. Connery flatly refused, saying he didn’t understand the script. He didn’t even get it after the movie came out! No biggie – he just missed out on about a $450 million payday.
