Tigers are best known for their distinctive markings on their fur that combines orange and black stripes with flashes of white thrown in. They are mostly found in the jungles of Asia and Siberia, not running around San Diego, California.
The closest the people of California can get to a tiger is to go and visit one in the zoo. Thanks to a unique grooming style, people can now get their cat’s fur cut into stripes to make them look like the wild predators, but the results aren’t so convincing. After Caitlin’s father asked for the special cut, her cat looked more like an accordion than a ferocious wild tiger that stalks its prey.
