The outdoorsman may be an animal lover, but that doesn’t mean he knew the first thing about looking after a fawn. It’s not something that he’d ever done before, so one of the first things he did was research how to care for one.

The internet was a great help for this because he got the answers he needed almost immediately. He learned that the young animal required feeding every four hours, which meant several restless nights for Sasnauskas. If the fawn survived, though, they would be worth it.
