A lot of people complain about the state of modern technology, asking questions like “where’s my flying car?” but let’s take a moment to appreciate just how far we’ve come in the past decades.
That big brown disk on the photo is what a 4 megabyte hard drive used to look like in 1965. On the floor, propped against it (even though there’s a very clear sign saying “Please do not touch”), it’s a modern cellphone, which has more computing power than the computer aboard Apollo 11 did.
