Not only has Maryana set many records in her time as a competitive bench presser, but she has also become one of the biggest names in the community. That’s not all.

Maryana is not the first under 18 female ever to be allowed to take part in professional powerlifting tournaments. Before Maryana, it was always reserved for men. Now, it seems as though this youngster is becoming an icon for young women all around the world, one weight at a time.

Maryana continued to train and enter many competitions over the years. After all, she had worked so hard to build her muscles and tune her body to the sport, why not show off her skills for the world to see?

The years passed until March 2015 rolled around. Now, it was time to set even more records. Maryana signed her name up to the Arnold BenchBack competition. It was time. Amazingly, Maryana lifted 150 kg (130 pounds) and walked away with the female record.
