There’s a good chance most people were forced to read the Great Gatsby in high school as one of the required books. That being said, not everyone actually follows the list and reads all of the books they are supposed to.

For whatever reason, this guy decided to talk about how everyone had read this particular book, but proved himself a liar when someone quoted the first line of the Great Gatsby and he had no idea what they were talking about.
